Spun

Spun Terms of Use

Updated 16 October 2026

Play fair

Catch cars you actually see. Photos must be your own or ones you have the right to use. Don’t upload photos of people, private property you shouldn’t be photographing, or anything unlawful.

Public posts: only post photos you took. No harassment, no tracking down an owner or a car through Spun, and nothing offensive. We remove posts that break these rules, and may stop an account from posting.

Never use Spun while driving. Pull over or let a passenger spot.

Handles must not impersonate anyone or be offensive. We may remove handles, friendships or leaderboard entries that break these rules.

Only add cars you own, and only register the plate of a car you own or are allowed to drive. We may remove garage cars or plate registrations that break this rule.

Your content

Your photos stay yours. You give us permission to store and process them to run Spun for you. When you share a card, you choose where it goes.

The game

Car identification is automatic and sometimes wrong. XP, levels and leaderboards are for fun, have no cash value and may be adjusted to fix mistakes or cheating.

Spun is independent. It isn’t affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by any car maker, and car names are the trademarks of their owners, used only to identify the cars.

The fine print

Spun is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect loss. Nothing here limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
